This piano accompaniment class is taught by Lorien Cockman and is open to students of all levels, from curious beginners to experienced players looking to expand their stylistic range. The course focuses on accompaniment techniques drawn from both Celtic and bluegrass traditions, helping students build strong rhythmic support, develop stylistic versatility, and gain confidence playing with others. Emphasis is placed on practical ready skills that can be adapted to a wide variety of musical settings.

Disclaimer: This is not a class for new beginners. Before sitting in on this class, please make sure you know the names of each key on the piano, are able to quickly find notes when they are called out, and are able to form a chord and play an octave with one hand. Thank you!
