Our guitar course is designed to welcome players at different stages while learning together in the same musical space. The beginner course, taught by Dave Mugg, focuses primarily on accompaniment skills—building strong rhythm, chord confidence, and the tools needed to play along with songs and other musicians. This year our beginner songs are all Doc Watson tunes. Doc was a Watauga County native whose music was a great influence on our camp.
